The initial structure of this government was different. The structure of three ruling parties plus one supporting party was something exotic. The change in the ratio in parliament after the Constitutional Court's decision and the entry of the "Majesty" party made the majority so fragile that this structure would not last this way. What I think would be a reasonable move is for the government to be based on four stable parties, and not on three "legs" plus one "crutch". With four solid political entities to support this majority of 121 votes in parliament, they can shoulder the relevant work that needs to be done. Probably not for all four years, but at least in the foreseeable future. Such a government would have a future, because otherwise we will continue to work with floating, changing majorities, which is unsustainable. If this remains, the subject “New Beginning“ will settle on this structure. This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the “FACTI“ studio and the “Conversation“ program by Rumen Yonchev, chairman of the Agricultural People's Union and MP from the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms“.
"The “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms“ group is the second largest in the governing configuration. It is as large as the BSP, and the ITN are significantly smaller. And to ask for the support of such a serious political subject without its real participation in power, and to expect it to make a decision in favor of the cabinet, means that you are asking for something unnatural, abnormal. If they don't participate equally in governance, the better option is to look for another partner, and they've probably already found one," the guest added.
