Iranian state television announced today that the number of people killed in yesterday's strikes, which destroyed the Iranian consulate in Damascus, reached 13 people, including seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, AFP and BTA reported.
"In the attack carried out by the Zionist regime against the Iranian consulate and embassy in the Syrian capital, seven Iranians and six Syrians were killed,'' Iranian state television said. Earlier, 11 deaths were reported, AFP notes.
