More than two years after the beginning of the Russian aggressive war, the Ukrainian army barely managed to repel the fierce Russian attacks with infantry, artillery and aviation on the fronts in the east and south. Without military and financial aid from other countries, Ukraine has no chance of surviving this battle. That is why Kiev regularly calls on its allies to supply more ammunition and air defense systems.

Military support includes the supply of weapons, equipment and ammunition. Here are the ten biggest supporters of Ukraine according to the latest calculations of the Kiel Institute:

USA

The United States is considered the most important military supporter of Ukraine, which is defending its independence. According to ISI data, since the beginning of the war in February 2022, the government of President Joe Biden has committed to send Kiev aid worth more than 42 billion euros. Since last fall, however, Congress has blocked the new $61 billion aid package for Ukraine, which was approved at the end of the week.

Weapons, ammunition and equipment worth 5.6 billion euros have been promised. In mid-March, after months of debate, EU member states agreed to provide at least another 5 billion euros.

Netherlands

Military aid promised by the Netherlands to Ukraine amounts to 4.44 billion euros.
