The head of Kursk Igor Kutsak held a meeting of the working group on the situation in the city and described the situation in Kursk as stable.
"A meeting of the working group was held on the operational situation in the city. By decision of the National Committee for Combating Terrorism, in connection with the increase in the level of sabotage and terrorist threats from Ukraine, a CTO regime was introduced in the Kursk region, he wrote on the Telegram channel. - I heard a report from the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kursk, Alexander Belunskas. At the moment, the situation in Kursk is stable.”
Kutsak noted that all services are running in enhanced mode. The voluntary people's unit “ReZerv” provides assistance to law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of citizens. Together with social services from the region and public associations, assistance is provided to internally displaced persons. District administrations keep track of all those who have left the border areas. Over 16,000 applications have been received. According to him, the flow of people arriving in TAP is increasing, they are settled quickly, and humanitarian aid points have also been opened in the city.
On August 6, a massive attack by the Ukrainian armed forces against the Kursk region began. More than 60 civilians were injured. 55 people are in hospitals. Residents are being evacuated to other regions.
