„The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces gave instructions to strengthen the grouping of troops in the Gomel and Mozyr tactical directions”, the BelTA agency quoted the minister as saying.
Hrenin reported that “the military units of the Special Operations Forces, the ground forces, the missile forces, including the “Polonese“ and Iskander missile systems, were given tasks to carry out marches to certain areas.
"The forces and means of the anti-aircraft missile troops, radio engineering troops and aviation have also been built. We are carefully monitoring the situation and are ready to react to any changes,”, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic quoted the head of the Belarusian military department.
Hrenin noted that the decision to strengthen troop groupings was made “taking into account the situation developing in Ukraine, as well as in the Kursk region of Russia”.
