Europe will face serious geopolitical challenges in connection with the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States and his possible intention to end the conflict between Ukraine and Russian Federation in the coming months.
„There is no doubt that the new geopolitical landscape after the US election presents a serious challenge for everyone, especially in the context of a possible end to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict as a result of an agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the new US President Donald Trump. "There is a lot of talk about this as a possible scenario for the development of events, if not in the coming days, then in the coming months," Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference broadcast on his office's social networks. In this regard, the Polish leadership will hold consultations with its most important NATO partners - French President Emmanuel Macron is expected in Warsaw in the near future.
In addition, he will hold talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London or Warsaw, and Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte will arrive in Poland in the coming days.
