Zelensky's speech angered Poland. Warsaw announced that Ukraine has a short memory - 1

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met with Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosyniak-Kamisz. He complained to the head of the Alliance from Ukraine, UNIAN agency reported.

As tvn24.pl writes, the Polish representative said “how much Poland has already done and how much it has helped Ukraine”, while Ukrainians have a “short memory”. In particular, Warsaw was outraged that, according to the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, it follows that Poland is not doing everything possible.

Kosniak-Kamish recalled that in the first months of the war, it was Poland that transferred military equipment and organized humanitarian aid.

"It cannot be said that Poland is not doing its best. Poland has done and continues to do everything possible. But there is a line we will never cross. The aid limit to Ukraine is a matter of Poland's security. If handing over any equipment threatens the security of the Polish state, I simply will not hand over that equipment,”, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

He accused Zelensky of trying to “attract other countries to directly participate in the conflict” with Russia. At the same time, Kosignac-Kamish himself admits that such actions are natural to a certain extent.

"But we have our own strategy... I spoke with the NATO Secretary General about shooting down missiles. I believe that (this would be possible) if there was a common decision of the entire alliance”, said the Polish Deputy Prime Minister.
