Military strikes and risks for Kyiv

We remind you that on November 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a strike by the Russian military with a new medium-range ballistic missile called "Oreshnik". In a televised address, Putin did not directly specify the target of the strike, but described it as an important strategic plant that produces Soviet-era missiles. This may be related to Russia's strategic goals in the region, while also indicating rising tensions.

US Embassy Closure and Airborne Alert

An air alert was declared for all of Eastern and Central Ukraine, including the capital, Kyiv. The actions of the US, which yesterday announced the closure of its embassy in Kiev, are also linked to the increased risk of attacks on the Ukrainian capital.

There is a possibility that the actions of Russia and the launch of the new missile "Oreshnik" may be part of the Kremlin's strategy to escalate the conflict, but the exact link between the events remains unclear.
