Sergey Lavrov: Zelensky was scared by Russia's response - 1

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has been spooked by Moscow's response to the West's authorization of deep strikes into Russian territory and has started blaming his patrons, a helpful result. This was stated today by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a press conference after a joint meeting of representatives of the foreign ministries of Russia and Belarus, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.

„As for our response (to the use of a hypersonic missile - note TASS), as far as I understand, Zelensky got scared and directly began to blame his patrons for leaving him unarmed in the face of such a move by the Russian Federation“, noted Lavrov.

„This is probably a useful result”, said the Russian foreign minister and added: “Because being closer to reality, feeling it on my skin, is already something useful.“

In his words, the West has allowed itself the use of long-range weapons against Russia, since without its direct participation not a single missile would have taken off.

„It is difficult for me to decide for them and make guesses for those who say they allowed Zelensky to use these missiles. They solved it for themselves, that is already abundantly clear” noted the Russian top diplomat and added: “The Russian president has mentioned this more than once. Without their (in the West - note TASS) direct participation, not a single missile would have taken off”.
