US national debt hits new record for all time and exceeded 36 trillion dollars, the Ministry of Finance of the country reported.
The debt, which was $34 trillion in January, has increased by $2 trillion this year.
According to the International Monetary Fund, the level of US government debt in 2029 will reach 131.7% of GDP, and by 2032 the ratio of US government debt to GDP will exceed 140%.
The fund warned that such growth threatens both the national and global economy.
Under Joe Biden's presidency, the US national debt has grown from $28 trillion in 2021. to an unprecedented level of more than $36 trillion this year.
