Britain has imposed the largest package of sanctions against the Russian "shadow fleet" ;, including 30 oil tankers. This was announced by British Foreign Minister David Lammy, quoted by Reuters, before the meeting of the G-7 foreign ministers, BTA reports.
Lamy specified that the purpose of the sanctions is to hit the navy, which, according to the British authorities, evades Western restrictions on the export of Russian oil.
„It is extremely important at this G-7 meeting that all colleagues continue to support Ukraine. We are confident that it will have the funds, military equipment and equipment to go through 2025,”, Lammy said.
The British Foreign Secretary has called on allies to unite in their efforts to provide long-term support to Ukraine to counter Russian actions and ensure stability in the region.
