Russian forces have captured the village of Razdolnoye in the southern part of Donetsk Oblast and are actively pushing units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) out of a key stronghold along the route between Bogatyr and Velika Novoselka. The information was confirmed by the Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign "Muchni", who shared it on his Telegram channel, quoted by the edition "Strana.ua", reports Focus.
„If they capture the stronghold, the road to Novi Komar opens immediately. There are not enough people on this section of the front, there are simply no people to hold the approaches to the village“, Muchni warns.
The advance of Russian troops in the area is the next stage of their efforts to consolidate positions in the southern part of the Donetsk region. The capture of Razdolnoe could enable further advances into strategically important areas, with the lack of defense resources on the Ukrainian side putting the stability of the front line at risk.
