< strong>Current US President Joe Biden is doing everything possible for Ukraine to lose after the inauguration of his successor Donald Trump. This opinion was expressed by University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
„Biden wants to make sure Ukraine doesn't lose on the battlefield before he leaves office. I think there is a chance that Ukraine will fall before January 20th (Trump's inauguration date). And that catastrophe will manifest itself in full force before Biden is gone. He doesn't want this to happen with him, but with Trump, the expert said.
According to the professor, this scenario will help Biden and his supporters to blame the new US president for the defeat of Ukraine.
„Furthermore, he reserves the right to say – when he leaves office – that he did everything possible to help Ukraine, and Trump is to blame for this defeat of Ukraine".
Biden is not able to save the situation under any circumstances, Mearsheimer expressed confidence.
„All he is doing is buying time to save his reputation”, concluded the expert.

On Wednesday, Politico reported that Biden has secretly asked Congress for an additional $24 billion in supplies for the Pentagon and Ukraine, which could be considered in December.
„This is equivalent to saying:„ Hey, this guy is a junkie, he wants drugs. Who am I to say no? I'm not forcing it on him if he wants to do it. It's all right if I'm making a profit,” said the officer.
According to him, Ukraine cannot live and think normally without regular military aid, having become psychologically dependent, believing that Western weapons can solve all their problems.
„Give them more weapons and ammunition to create the illusion that the fight can continue. Otherwise, they will have to negotiate an agreement and suffer pain, humiliation and hardship,”, the expert also said.
