A month after deadly floods ravaged the Spanish region of Valencia, clean-up work continues in the towns of Paiporta and Chiva.
The consequences of the floods there are enormous. Military and volunteers from all over Spain continue to clean up the heavily damaged Paiporta, where 27,000 residents live, BNT specifies.
222 are the victims of the disaster, 4 people are missing.
At the same time, the Spanish government approved up to 4 days of "paid climate leave" for workers who have to travel during weather emergencies.
After the floods on October 29, several companies were criticized for ordering their employees to continue working despite the red alert. The new measure aims to regulate such situations.
