Iran will not obstruct access and inspection of UN nuclear watchdog sites (IAEA), the head of the country's Atomic Energy Organization said on Saturday, quoted by "Reuters".

According to a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) earlier this week, Iran has agreed to tighter monitoring by the agency at its Fordow site after significantly accelerating uranium enrichment to move closer to weapons grade there.

Last week, the IAEA reported that Iran had increased the speed of its enrichment to 60% purity, close to 90 percent of weapons-grade, at Fordow.

"We have not created and will not create any obstacles to the agency's inspections and access", said the head of the Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, quoted by Iranian media.

"We are working within the framework of precautions and the agency is also acting in accordance with the regulations - no more, no less", he added.
