Five people were killed in northern France. One person surrendered to the authorities this evening, claiming to be the perpetrator, the gendarmerie reported, quoted by Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA.
Four of the victims were killed near the city of Dunkirk. According to initial data, these are two security guards and two migrants. The fifth person was killed in the municipality of Worms.
A man surrendered to the gendarmerie in the town of Givelde, claiming to be the perpetrator of the murders, a source close to the investigation said, without giving further details.
The local prefecture announced that an investigation is underway into the case.
