Russia will respond to the murder of the commander of the radiation, chemical and biological protection (RCB) troops of the Russian Armed Forces, General Igor Kirillov, and his assistant, said the head of the State Duma's international affairs committee, Leonid Slutsky, quoted by RIA Novosti and Focus.
Slutsky stressed that Russia will not leave the attack that killed General Kirillov and his assistant unanswered. According to him, the Russian side will "liquidate the leaders of the Kiev regime".
"We will not forgive this; in response to the heinous crime, we will liquidate the leaders of the Kiev regime, like Konovalets or Bandera at the time. "No one will escape retribution," Slutsky said.
We recall that an Uzbek citizen was detained on suspicion of a terrorist attack that led to the death of General Kirillov. The FSB announced that the perpetrator had been detained and assured that the Ukrainian special services involved in the crime would be brought to justice. The Russian president's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, said that Moscow considers the Kiev regime to be the organizer of the attack and will continue to fight it.
