Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian city of Kazan this morning. The attack targeted an industrial enterprise, as well as residential areas.
There were no casualties or injuries, the press service of the Tatarstan governor reported. The city hall reported attacks on residential buildings and fires in several areas of the city. Evacuation is underway. The head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, arrived at the scene of the incident.
Temporary flight restrictions have been imposed at the Kazan airport. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin ordered the evacuated residents to be accommodated and provided with warm clothes and food. Residents are urged to remain calm and, in the event of an alarm, to go down to the first floors of buildings and basements.
