Yemeni rebels claim to have struck an Israeli military site with a hypersonic missile - 1

Yemeni rebels, known as the Houthis, announced that they had struck an Israeli military site with a hypersonic missile "Palestine-2", reports Focus.

The rebels' spokesman, Yahya Sariya, said that the operation was successful and that the objectives of the attack were achieved. According to his statements, the strike was aimed at a military site in Jaffa, near Tel Aviv.

The reaction of the Israeli authorities

The Israeli army announced that air raid sirens were activated in the central part of the country as a result of a missile launched from Yemen. The Israeli military press service said the missile was intercepted by air defense systems before it entered Israeli airspace.

Rising missile threat

This is the second consecutive night that Yemeni Houthis have fired rockets at Israel, and the attacks are now becoming a regular occurrence. Israeli authorities say air raid sirens have been activated over a wider area than usual as part of a new policy to increase security after previous late-warning attacks.

Security strategy

Israeli authorities are taking measures to ensure the safety of the population, with a series of sirens activated in response to missile threats directing millions of people to bomb shelters.
