The Houthi TV “Masirah“ reported that at least three people were killed and 11 were wounded in airstrikes carried out by Israel in Yemen. These attacks targeted sites controlled by the Iran-linked group, which actively supports the Palestinians in the war against Israel, quoted by BTA.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the attack, stating that his country will continue to “cut off the hand of the Iranian axis“. The Israeli military has carried out strikes on the international airport in the capital Sanaa, the port city of Hodeidah, and other strategic sites linked to the Houthis.
The Iran-backed group has not stopped attacking Israel with missiles and drones, which it uses as part of its support for the Palestinians. This is part of a wider conflict in the region, and Israel has repeatedly responded to these attacks with airstrikes on targets in Yemen.
The Houthis in Sanaa and Hodeidah were reportedly hit in the latest Israeli attack, with two power plants among the targets.
