At least 13 people have died after a bus fell off a cliff in southern Colombia. This was announced by the Minister of Transport Maria Constanza Garcia.
"To date, authorities have reported 13 deaths, as well as 18 injuries and 1 passenger without injuries. The injured have been taken to hospitals in the city of Pasto“, she wrote in X.
The bus was traveling from the city of Cali to the village of Ipiales, located on the border with Ecuador. As the newspaper El Tiempo reports, citing rescuers, according to preliminary data, the vehicle was damaged, as a result of which the driver lost control and the bus fell from a height.
