Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will arrive in Russia for an official visit on January 17. During his visit, he will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin press service reported today, as quoted by Reuters, TASS and BTA.
The two leaders are expected to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in the trade and investment, transport and logistics and humanitarian areas, as well as current regional and international issues.
During the visit, Putin and Pezeshkian will sign an agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran and make joint statements to the media.
