Ukrainian air defenses have shot down 57 of the 104 drones with which Russia attacked Ukrainian territory last night, causing damage to infrastructure in several areas, the Ukrainian Air Force announced this morning, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
According to information from the Air Force, 39 drones were "lost" thanks to the actions of electronic warfare units.
The Ukrainian army indicated that the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Ivano-Frankivsk regions were affected by the Russian attacks.
"Infrastructural facilities, apartment buildings and private buildings were damaged. Initially, there is no information about casualties," the Ukrainian armed forces wrote on their channel in the "Telegram" application.
The regional military administrations of Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions confirmed that drones had hit "strategic infrastructure", but without giving details, Reuters explains.
