Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Álvarez arrived on an official visit to Ukraine, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA.
Álvarez announced his arrival in a post on the social network “X“ (formerly “Twitter“). “I have just arrived in Ukraine“, he wrote, noting that the unjust and unprovoked war in the country has been going on for three years.
“This year must become a year of peace. A peace based on justice, which will guarantee the sovereignty and freedom of Ukraine. Spain stands firmly with the Ukrainian people in their fight for this“, the Spanish Foreign Minister stressed.
For his part, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said that Albarez's visit is related to the opening of the first UNESCO Cultural Center in Ukraine.
