Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda Ukraine's defense needs, investment in weapons production, and guarantees for Ukraine's security, Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA.
Zelensky announced the conversation on social networks.
The Ukrainian leader thanked Lithuania for its clear position and unwavering support for Ukraine.
"We discussed strengthening Ukraine's defense, in particular its needs for artillery, air defense, direct investments in the production of long-range drones, as well as guarantees for Ukraine's security. "It is important to preserve unity and joint efforts to restore a just peace," Zelensky stressed.
