Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in an interview with Neue Zürcher Zeitung that his country is under constant pressure from the United States and the European Union.
Orban stressed that Hungary, with a population of ten million, cannot live under serious pressure from outside. “Democrats hated us because of our opposing positions on issues such as migration, gender issues and the situation around Ukraine“, he noted.
The Hungarian PM added that the situation has changed with the coming to power of US President Donald Trump. Orban expressed hope for expanding ties between the countries.
Earlier, Orban spoke out against the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, the conflict there cannot continue and Brussels needs changes.
