Over the past week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have sent almost 1,600 munitions to some regions of the Russian Federation, as a result of which over 60 civilians were injured and 6 more people were killed, including a child, TASS reported.
"68 civilians suffered from the Nazi shelling: 62 people were injured, including 9 minors, 6 people were killed, including 1 minor. In total, over the past seven days, the Ukrainian armed forces have fired at least 1,560 rounds of ammunition at peaceful targets on Russian territory, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Rodion Miroshnik.
He specified that over the past week alone, 10 minors were injured in strikes by the Ukrainian armed forces, of whom 1 died.
The Russian Foreign Ministry representative noted that the "most striking cases of aggression" were a missile strike by Ukrainian troops on a city market in the center of Makeyevka, drone attacks on city buses in Gorlovka in the so-called DPR and against a school bus with children in Zaporozhye region.
Meanwhile, last night, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 40 Ukrainian drones over five regions of the Russian Federation.
18 of them were shot down over the territory of Saratov region, 13 over the territory of Rostov region, 6 over the territory of Bryansk region, 2 over the territory of Volgograd region and 1 over the territory of Belgorod region.
