Sappers from the Russian Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief have neutralized a downed French-made Scalp cruise missile in the Kursk region of Russia, their ministry announced today, quoted by Reuters, writes BTA.
Ukrainian forces have established control over part of the territory of the Kursk region after their surprise offensive in August last year, the agency recalls.
Russia has regained about two-thirds of the territory initially seized, where fighting continues, Reuters adds.
