Kazakhstan's Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliev has indicated the permissible threshold for oil prices, the national news agency Kazinform reported, BTA reports.
The minister noted that the government has different scenarios for oil prices, in which appropriate measures will be taken.
“It is clear that for stable production in general, not only for Kazakhstan, but also for all oil producers, including international ones, based on the consultations we are conducting at the OPEC+ level, the price range of 75-85 dollars per barrel is appropriate in order to maintain production and ensure appropriate investments to maintain its level in the future“, Satkaliev explained.
At the same time, he stated, that in the first half of 2025, an increase in oil production is expected in Kazakhstan.
