Trump: I want immediate peace! Zelensky has no trump cards. We will continue the dialogue when he stops cursing Putin - 1

US President Donald Trump said after the quarrel with Zelensky at the White House that he is demanding a ceasefire in Ukraine "immediately", Sky News reported.

“Suddenly Zelensky has become a “big figure“, because he has the US on his side, but without us he will not win“, the American leader warned.

Trump noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to end the conflict, while Zelensky has presented himself as a person who wants to "fight, fight, fight“.

"Ukraine will have to end the conflict with Russia, otherwise Kiev will face serious consequences. Either you end the war or you leave it as it is and see what happens. Let them keep fighting,” he said.

"Dialogue with Zelensky could be resumed if he stops criticizing Russian President Vladimir Putin and clearly states his desire for a peaceful settlement. The conflict must be ended immediately, but Zelensky does not want that. He should say, “I want to make peace“. He does not have to stand there and talk about Putin - all that is negative. He should say, “I want to make peace“. I do not want to fight any more wars.“ He has no trump cards, understand that now. Ukraine cannot continue to fight without the support of the United States. Zelensky has overestimated his position,“ Trump continued

“We do not want a ten-year war. We want peace. We want to end the deaths. I want this to end now, I want a ceasefire now,” Trump said.

Earlier, Trump noted on his Truth Social media that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had shown disrespect to the United States and was not ready to make peace.

He noted that he had a "meaningful" conversation with Zelensky and that he learned a lot during the dispute that would have been impossible to understand without "this fire and pressure".

"I have concluded that President Zelensky is not ready for peace if America is involved. I want peace. He has shown disrespect to the United States in his beloved Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for peace," Trump said.
