The Ukrainian army said it had struck oil refineries in two Russian regions over the past two days, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
According to a statement by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army, published on "Facebook", the attacks were aimed at oil refineries in Ryazan and Samara regions, which supplied fuel to the Russian army.
"The refinery in Ryazan region produced an average of 840 thousand tons of high-quality jet fuel," the statement said. The Ukrainian military emphasizes that this fuel was used by Russian military aircraft carrying out strikes on Ukraine.
The fuel from the refinery in the Samara region was transported by pipelines and rail to the positions of the Russian armed forces in northern Ukraine.
