Ukrainian authorities have ordered the evacuation of eight settlements near Russia's Kursk region, where Moscow's forces have made significant progress in recent days, pushing Ukrainian troops back to the border, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
"Due to the deterioration of the operational situation in the region and the constant shelling, a decision was made today to proceed with the mandatory evacuation of the population of eight settlements in the Ukrainian Sumy region," the regional military administration announced on the social network "Facebook".
