US President Donald Trump said today in Washington that he would not change his decision regarding the imposition of high reciprocal tariffs from April 2, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"We have been robbed for years and we will not continue to be robbed", Trump said during a meeting at the White House with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
The US president defended his decision to impose tariffs on imports into the US. He promised that investors will ultimately win.
"The European Union is very, very nasty. They are suing "Google", they are suing "Facebook" (Facebook), they're suing all these companies and taking billions of dollars from American companies," Trump said, as quoted by Reuters.
The American president said that "Facebook" would make investments of $60 billion by the end of the year.
