Ukrainian army leaves its best weapons to the Russians as it flees Kursk - 1

Ukrainian forces that have left Russia's Kursk region have left some of their best weapons to the Russian army, Forbes reported.

One of the most elite brigades of the ZSU retreated after a Russian counterattack and was forced to quickly leave the Kursk region under cover of night. However, they left behind heavy equipment that they could not take, effectively giving it to the Russians to seize.

These are Western-made vehicles and artillery.

Among the trophies for the Russians are M1 Abrams and M2 Bradley. According to military experts, the Bradley is the best fighting vehicle in the Russian-Ukrainian war due to its combination of mobility, protection and firepower. Australia has promised to deliver new M1 Abrams tanks to Kiev, but unfortunately for the Ukrainian army, it is not expected to receive new M2 Bradleys.

In the Kursk region, the Russians may have also come across the first intact M777 howitzer. The Russians have also lost military equipment in the Kursk region, where the ZSU carried out a surprise invasion last summer.

Ukrainian commanders are trying to maintain a three-to-one loss ratio in their favor - a ratio they clearly failed to maintain in their attempts and eventual failure to hold onto Kursk.

Russian troops have established control over the strategic town of Sudzha in Russia's Kursk region, which was captured by Ukrainian forces that entered the border area with Ukraine last summer, world agencies reported yesterday, citing an official statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.
