The Russian army launched massive strikes on Kupyansk

On the evening of March 19, the Russian army launched massive strikes on Kupyansk. In just a few hours, the city was attacked by two dozen KABs - satellite-controlled floating bombs.

This was reported by 24 Channel, quoted by FOCUS, citing the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.

What is known about the massive attack on Kupyansk?

Sinegubov reported that Kupyansk was hit by at least 20 KABs in the past few hours.

There is damage to critical infrastructure, and fires have broken out in civilian homes. The constant threat of repeated attacks is making it difficult for the specialized services to work. Information about the presence of casualties is being clarified, the head of the OVA said.

Around 20:50, Russian troops hit civilians with KABs, a private house was damaged, and a fire broke out in a garage. A 54-year-old woman was injured and taken to hospital.

A 51-year-old civilian man was also reported dead. His body was found under the rubble of a house, and the man suffered injuries incompatible with life.

The media noted that explosions were heard in other cities in the evening, in particular in Kropyvnytskyi and Krivoy Rog. The Ukrainian air defense is trying to counter the Russian "Shahedi".
