The football world is in mourning after the tragic loss of the 18-year-old Chinese talent Guo Jiaxuan.
On February 13, doctors declared him brain dead, and today the inevitable sad news came - the young defender died as a result of a severe head injury.
The incident occurred during a friendly match in Spain between his team Beijing Guo and RS Alcobendas, when an opponent player inadvertently hit him in the temple with a knee. Despite the efforts of the doctors, Jiaxuan was unable to fight for his life. The young footballer's career was marked by enormous potential.
In 2023 he was part of Bayern Munich's World Team, which gives young talents from different countries a chance to develop in professional football. It was the German giants who first announced the tragic news this morning.
