Britain will accelerate plans next week for a potential peacekeeping force in Ukraine. This was stated by a spokesman for Prime Minister Keir Starmer, quoted by "Reuters".
There will also be a discussion about how they could operate and in what structure.
British military planners will meet again at the Northwood base in London next week to discuss how the force could operate, the spokesman said.
"We will continue to accelerate the pace and scale of planning for the operation with further meetings at our headquarters in Northwood as we consider the details and structure of a possible future force," he noted.
A few days ago it became clear that Britain was ready to deploy more than 10,000 soldiers to Ukraine.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the deployment of peacekeeping forces in Ukraine, as proposed by France and Britain, is a matter for Kiev, not Moscow, to decide.
