A Russian drone killed two road workers in southern Ukraine's Kherson region last night, local authorities reported, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
Kherson region Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said that when the drone attacked, the two men were working near Kherson itself.
Kherson region was occupied by Russian forces in the first weeks of the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, but Ukraine regained large parts of it later that year.
Russian forces continue to shell Ukrainian-controlled areas in the region from territory they control.
