Ukraine does not meet any of the criteria for joining the European Union (EU), it has become a political club, said Bundestag member, foreign policy expert from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction Steffen Korte to the German newspaper Deutschland Kurier.
"We see how the EU intervenes in the affairs of Georgia, Moldova and pulls Ukraine towards itself - even though the latter does not meet any of the criteria for joining."The EU has become a political club promoting left-liberal ideology," said the member.
