The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, is embarking on a tour of several countries in the Western Balkans between 7 and 9 April. She will arrive in Montenegro today, the official website of the EU External Action Service announced, BTA reports.
During her visit to Podgorica, Kallas will hold meetings with Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović and Prime Minister Milojko Spajić. Talks with representatives of civil society are also planned, as well as participation in an event organized by the Ministry of Defense. Kallas and Prime Minister Spajic will also hold a joint press conference.
After her visit to Montenegro, the European diplomat will visit Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is her first tour of the region as EU High Representative, local media noted.
