Donald Trump will undergo an annual medical examination as US president on Friday, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.
He himself announced the news on his social network "Truth Social". Seventy-eight-year-old Trump is the oldest person to take office as US president, AFP notes.
"I am pleased to announce that my long-planned annual medical examination will take place on Friday of this week at the "Walter Reed" military hospital in a suburb of Washington," the Republican billionaire wrote. "I've never felt better, but these things have to be done!", he added.
The topic of the health of American presidents became particularly relevant at the end of the term of Trump's predecessor - Democrat Joe Biden, who at the age of 82 was showing increasing signs of senile weakness.
During the election campaign, the Republican bet on this card, and Biden eventually withdrew from the race.
As for Trump, he does not drink or smoke, but does not hide his preferences for carbonated drinks and fast food chains, according to Agence France-Presse.
