The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that on Friday evening, positions of the republic's army were shelled in the area of the border with Armenia.
“On April 11, from 20:10 to 23:15, units of the Armenian armed forces from positions located in the Basarkechar and Goris directions intermittently shelled positions of the Azerbaijani army“, the statement said.
According to the Defense Ministry, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces "took adequate response measures" in the specified areas.
