A light cargo plane with six people on board has crashed in New York state, killing at least one person, Reuters reported.
According to the agency, the Mitsubishi MU-2B crashed in a field near the town of Copacabana, located about 80 km south of the New York state capital Albany.
There is no information yet on the causes of the accident or the health of the remaining people on board. Local authorities said that wet ground in the area of the crash made it difficult to access the plane.
This is the second aviation accident in the state this week, after a tourist helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in New York on Friday, killing all six people on board.
