BAKU, April 19. /TASS/. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported shelling of positions of the army of the republic from Armenia on Friday evening.
“At around 22:35, units of the Armenian armed forces from positions located in the area of the village of Dig in the Goris region fired on positions of the Azerbaijani army“, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement. The department also specified that the units of the armed forces of the republic took “adequate response measures“ in the indicated direction.
The last time Azerbaijan reported shelling from the Goris region was on April 12.
