Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq Al Said will arrive in Russia on a state visit on Monday, April 21. This was reported by the Oman News Agency.
The Sultan of Oman will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. The parties will discuss various aspects of the regional and international agenda, as well as issues of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment and energy, the Oman News Agency reported.
It is noted that the upcoming meeting “reflects the desire of the two friendly countries to promote their common interests by developing partnership strategies“. The visit is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
According to the Kremlin, the Russian president will hold talks with the Sultan of Oman on Tuesday, April 22, with the heads of state discussing key areas of cooperation, including trade and economic, financial and investment, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
