Two people were shot on Easter Eve in the German city of Bad Nauheim, Hesse, DPA reported, quoted by BTA, citing a statement from local police last night.
The shooter fled, and a pursuit is underway, a police spokesman added.
"In the current situation, there is no danger to residents of the city, as well as to the German public in general", the police announced.
"For the time being, we have assumed that there is one attacker", the spokesman explained, without giving any other details.
The alleged crime scene is in front of a three-story building in the city north of Frankfurt. The area is residential, with apartment complexes around a swimming pool, DPA specified.
