This statement was made by the negotiator with the United States on the Russian side, Kirill Dmitriev, on his Telegram channel, commenting on an article by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta“ about a possible new agreement drawn up by Europe and Kiev

According to Dmitriev, in this case, the peace talks on Ukraine will fail.

"It is obvious that the plan to settle the conflict in London will be drawn up from scratch and may ultimately turn out to be completely unacceptable for Russia. The participation in the upcoming negotiations of Big Ben, in addition to representatives of the USA, UK and France, of three of (Volodymyr) Zelensky's close associates, threatens to nullify all previous American plans".

"The peace plan will become another unrealistic piece of paper, the provisions of which Moscow will never agree to", the publication states.

If the negotiations fail and the war continues, "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" suggests that the Americans will withdraw from the process and stop all assistance to Ukraine. This will make the situation very difficult for Kiev and Europe, Strana.ua adds.
