Moscow is offering and considering serious proposals for settling the situation in Ukraine, but is not revealing details until the negotiations are over. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the American television company CBS.
"We are serious people and are considering serious proposals. We are making serious proposals. This is a process that should not be discussed until it is over," Lavrov noted. “The negotiations are ongoing and until they are concluded, we will not disclose their content“, he stressed.
Moscow is behaving politely and correctly and is not disclosing details of the negotiations to resolve the crisis. Volodymyr Zelensky is dealing with this, Lavrov said.
"We are really polite people and, unlike some, we never publicly discuss what is being discussed at the negotiations. Otherwise, they are frivolous", Lavrov replied when asked if Moscow was satisfied with the proposed agreements.
"If you need to know the opinion on the substance of the negotiations, contact Zelensky. He is happy to talk to anyone through the media and even makes his demands to President Trump in this way," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted.
