How stress affects women's fertility - 1

“I know more about women than men. A woman's infinity has no end. Whenever I work with couples, I ask women what their own intuition tells them”, commented on the air of ”Wake up”, reproductive medicine expert Dr. Georgi Stamenov.

According to him, reproductive problems are due to various circumstances, a woman's lifestyle, the difficulties she has gone through. ”No woman should be accused of not being able to have children”, said the specialist.

”Infidelity is the biggest enemy of women, and age is a limit after which other methods must be resorted to. A great enemy are also the many chronic diseases that women come with in old age. In addition to getting pregnant, a woman should be able to raise her child afterwards,” said Dr. Stamenov.

According to him, women can get pregnant with their own eggs up to about the age of 43. “I always remember the failures and the lost battles. A person does not wake up at night from admiration for their work, but from the grief and pain of not being able to cope with something”, added Dr. Stamenov.

According to him, artificial intelligence will be a great helper in reproductive medicine. “I am not afraid of artificial intelligence. It can never imitate the magnificence and depth of human thought”, believes Dr. Stamenov.

A year ago, the doctor created his own podcast in which he comments on topics that excite people. The first episode is related to aging. “The big misconception of everyone is that we need to turn back the clock. This cannot be done. But the aging process can be slowed down to the maximum. If we know how to avoid chronic diseases – we avoid aging”, explained Dr. Stamenov.

“People are mistaken about how happy they are at the present moment. We should be happy with what we have, not what we will have in the future”, he said.

Dr. Stamenov points out that stress is something that saves the human body from everything that threatens it. “If you are an antelope, grazing in the savannah and see a predator approaching, stress helps you escape from it. If you are a person who is harassed daily by scandals, by your employer, by life, stress becomes chronic, and this is what shortens our lives”, said the reproductive specialist.

According to Dr. Stamenov, women with stronger immunity have a harder time getting pregnant. “Immunity is something that is made to destroy. Pregnancy is something that is genetically foreign and the body is not prepared for it at all, so it must be deceived until the placenta is formed”, he explained.
