The SsangYong Actyon crossover will get a successor. The new generation of the model will debut in South Korea in August, and so far the first photos of it have been published on the official website of the company KG Mobility (that's how SsangYong is now called).
Unlike its predecessor, the new KGM Actyon will not be on a frame. This is practically a sportier version of the Torres crossover. It has a sharper design with an increased angle of inclination of the tailgate, a sloped roof and a large spoiler.
In addition, the KGM Actyon features an original futuristic front design. It has a massive bumper, narrow headlights and radiator grille lighting. Slim lights are installed at the back.
The KGM Actyon salon has not yet been declassified. It is known that the crossover will receive two displays on the front panel, as in the updated KGM Torres.
The KGM Actyon power units are also being kept under wraps for now. The crossover will definitely get a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 170 horsepower from KGM Torres, but the electric version with 207 horsepower is in question. In addition, the appearance of a hybrid is possible.
We recall that the original SsangYong Actyon was produced from 2005 to 2011 and was a frame SUV with a coupe-like design. In addition, in some countries the SsangYong Korando crossover was sold under this name.
